discount used college textbooks

How can I find textbooks I can actually afford?

I need my textbooks for college preferably by August 17th. The problem is i can’t find my english book on most discount websites and it costs 80 dollars, and my french book is over 100 dollars new or used. My math book has two components and i can only get them new. My communications book is so new that most websites don’t have them used. If I buy them from my school it will cost 544 dollars total. I can’t afford that and i don’t want to make my parents pay for it. So what can i do?

Have you tried to look for used books on Amazon? They are much cheaper, I’ve got a number of my textbooks there…
